fun finds...

Good morning!

One of the most fun and most challenging things about having this business is finding the merchandise to fill our shop. People are always asking, "where do you get all this cool stuff"?. My answer is always the same "everywhere"! I have a long and growing list of regular stops from one end of the county to the other. I go to estate sales and auctions regularly.

(these are a few finds from this week)

A nice size yellow tin canister with beautiful tole painting...

Can't make it all out in this picture, but it is a old bevel edged mirror in a wood frame, a gorgeous ornate gold frame and a lovely picture of what looks like to me like a young servant girl in ancient Rome.

A large wooden crate with very pretty advertising on it...
As I was sitting at an auction this week I noticed an older couple, I thought to myself that could very well be my husband and I in 30 years-lol.
This business is a A LOT of hard work, but we enjoy it and we're in it together and for that and so many other things I am grateful.
