sweet little aprons...

I just got back from picking up some very sweet little girls aprons. I designed them and cut them out then brought them to my Amish friend who sewed them up with her meticulous sewing skills. They will be available at the shop this afternoon.
I have always done my own sewing but these days I am grateful to have a bit of help when I need it. Her farm is only about a mile or two from our house so it's nice and convenient... She left a message on my phone last night that said I could come by this morning between 6-7-lol...yes that's A.M.! Not a problem, because I am almost always up by 5 a.m. at the latest.

Just added updated quilting class information. Julie is a wonderful teacher! I can personally vouch for her because I took her class in the fall and learned so much!

Annie is in the shop this morning and I'll be in about noon.

How is your Christmas prep coming along?

hello.

My intention with this blog is to journal a bit about the business, to make it a spot to go for information regarding the classes we teach. Share some before and after shots of our projects. Maybe a tutorial here and there. Who knows...

We'll just have to wait and see how this thing evolves...

I started journaling about 20 years ago. I have volumes filled. My personal journal has always been just on ongoing letter to God. I have taken a couple of classes on journaling I have even given a talk on the topic at a women's retreat, a bunch of years ago.

Journaling has been a powerful tool in my life. It helps me to reflect on where I've been, where I'm going and most of all, It has kept me aware of God's presence in my life through it all.
